Privacy Statement Comites GmbH

The owners of this website have taken the protection of personal data privacy very seriously for more than twenty years now.

Thus, as a matter of course, all national legal requirements are met with, also the requirements of the EU-GDPR (EU-DSGVO). Usage of our website is largely possible without providing personal data, and any exception therefrom will be explicitly pointed out to the user.

All personal data will be collected on a voluntary basis directly from the person concerned.

Any disclosure of these data to third parties requires explicit consent of the person concerned.

In addition, every opportunity to optimize data security will be used. It is obvious that this is possible only within the technological limitations determined by the systems, especially as far as e-mails are concerned.

Cookies
Our websites – if it can’t be avoided – make use of so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. They serve to make the provider’s websites safer, more efficient and altogether easier to use. Cookies are small text files that are placed on the visitor’s computer and stored by the browser. Wherever possible, we use so-called “session-cookies”.

These will be deleted automatically after your visit to our website. Other cookies will be stored on your end device until you delete them. Such cookies will enable us to recognize your browser the next time you interact with us.

Of course you can also set your browser to refuse cookies or to inform you when a cookie is stored, and then decide whether to accept or reject it, respectively set your browser so as to not accept cookies in general, or in certain cases only. Likewise you can activate a function for all cookies to be deleted automatically when you close your browser.

Active Components
The owners of this website do not access active components such as JavaScript, Java-Applets or ActiveX-Controls. We do use Google Analytics, however, provided by Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics use „Cookies”, i. e. text files that are saved onto your computer and allow an analysis of your visit to the website. Information generated by the cookie about your usage of the website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the case of IP anonymization on this website, your IP-address is truncated by Google within member states of the EU and other states that are party to the Agreement of the European Economic Area.

Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the owner of this website, Google uses this information to evaluate your visit to the website, to generate reports on the activities on this website and to provide further services connected to the Internet media usage and usage of this website to the owner of the website. The IP- address sent by your browser through Google Analytics will not be collated with other Google data.

You can set your browser software so as to prevent the storing of cookies in your terminal’s equipment; this may, however, mean that you may not be able to make full use of all the functions on this website yet. You can also prevent Google from recording and processing data generated by the Cookie and related to your usage of the website (including your IP-address), by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via this link.

Online Contact Form / Submission of Curriculum Vitae and Similar Personal Data
If you send us an inquiry per contact form and especially if you, in the same process or separately, also send us your curriculum vitae or other personal data, these will be stored by us, with all servers located in Europe.

If you send us an e-mail, your e-mail address will only be used for corresponding with you.

Use of Data
As far as you have made personal data available to us, these will be used by us exclusively for our cooperation with you and for the provision of our original services.

This means that your personal data will inevitably be stored and occasionally also edited by us. At the same time, we guarantee that your data will be passed on with your permission only.

Revocation of the Authorization of Storage and Usage of Personal Data
Every third party that has submitted personal data to us may of course at any time assert the right to „be forgotten”.

For this purpose, sending us an e-mail or a letter and asking us to immediately delete the data in question will be sufficient.

We will then take all measures required to delete all personal data, within the bounds of possibility, including data that have already been published.

Our Data Security Engineer
In order to guarantee the highest possible standard of data security and to demonstrate our sensitivity to the issue, we have chosen to commission an external data security engineer. Our data security engineer is Mr. Theodor Schöbel.

Validity of this Privacy Statement
This updated privacy statement shall apply with effect from May 1st 2018.
